- I traveled the USA as Health and Humor Ambassador (HaHA) for Thornberry Ltd. (A Home Health Management System). I am a former Director of Nursing & Administrative Supervisor at Community-General Hospital of Syracuse N.Y. A Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) U.S. Army Reserves, and Adjunct Faculty to several colleges in the Syracuse area. In addition to a Masters Degree from Syracuse University, I hold two (2) PhD* degree’s. As a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society for over 30 years & being a nurse for over 35 years, I claim to be the only "NurSINGologist" in the “world” (a new role which I have created for himself). Thus I awarded myself a PhD* (quite preposterously)- *Professor of harmony Development. Since my first PhD* didn’t cost me a dime – I awarded myself a second PhD*, *Professor of humor Development. I am the founder of the “NurSING Notes” (an all “RN” Barbershop Quartet) whose charge is to spread HEALTH & HUMOR through HARMONY. I have performed Internationally, with my quartet and also as a duo with my other dummy friends. The quartet retired in 2007.(I hope we can get back together when we ALL are retired.)
